In this article the features of a problem of assessment of efficiency of using information resources by enterprises are considered. The problems which occur due to using traditional solution methods of this problem are found. In the article is proposed the approach which is different from the existing ones. It is based on using objectives tree method and allows increasing an adequacy and reliability of assessment of efficiency of using information resources.

Group algebraic operations over fuzzy numbers – operations at which application indistinct numbers derivate abelian groups on addition and multiplication operations are offered. It is shown that application of group algebraic operations at fuzzy modeling, in some cases, allows receiving results better in good agreement with practice, than those which are received with application of traditional fuzzy numbers.

Method of intellectual processing of poorly formalized multivariable diverse arrays of biomedical information, based on evolutional method for solving of extreme tasks of multivariable function, is presented in the article. The proposed method allows predicting treatment results take account of biomedical and social features of the patients. Results of numerical experiment are adduced.

In the present paper we consider the library of algorithmic skeletons MaLLBa, a software tool for the resolution of hard combinatorial optimization problems. The efficiency of sequential and parallel heuristic methods of this library is investigated using MAX-SAT problems from the SAT-02 Challenge Set. The merits and demerits of the library are discussed.

This paper is devoted to demonstrate by the example the adaptability of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) for formal description of structures of models, offered by cognitive psychologists. This approach is applied to the model of focused attention according to Broadbent’s hypothesis of attention. The paper illustrates that UML model of cognitive phenomenon can then be translated into working software simulator. Resulted data prove the adequacy of synthesized simulator of focused attention to known experimental data.
