Novel video coding artifacts concealment method is proposed in this paper. Main idea for deblocking is to use basic deblocking algorithms and reconstruct grain that present in many video sequences captured by professional analog cameras. Proposed method makes it possible to decrease blocking artifacts perceptibility and to mask imperfections for deblocking algorithms results. Proposed algorithm result analysis was performed with the help of SAMVIQ methodology for subjective video quality assessments.

The paper describes an algorithm of Earth model position and orientation calculation relative to the coordinate system fixed to a space vehicle (SV) given it’s Kepler orbit elements defined in the geocentric reference frame are known. The approach enables more accurate SV docking modelling in space simulators.

In article it is shown that purposeful accumulation and the analysis of the data about the failures accompanying them factors and circumstances are necessary for forecasting of kinds of the most possible failures. For the decision of a problem of forecasting of failures possibility and prospect of application of the theory of recognition of images is shown. On the elementary example the approach to forecasting of the reasons of possible failures of pipelines on set of supervision over breakdown susceptibility and factors accompanying failures is developed and illustrated.

A major limitation of model-checking is statespace combinatorial explosion, which makes even medium-sized model inappropriate for that kind of verification. In this paper, parallel statespace generation with distributed state storage is proposed as a possible solution. State partitioning scheme that allows to reduce number of remote calls during generation process is developed. Experimental results, produced by developed verification tool, are given and prove that proposed partitioning scheme is better than random uniform distribution.

We present a novel algorithm for automatic extraction of a set of non-overlapping grids of similar facade parts from single rectified image. The most frequent possible grid cells sizes and grid cells centers are estimated by detecting and analyzing similar rectangles in input image. Greedy iterative algorithm sequentially chooses grids with maximum quality measure that incorporates empirical observations about similarities and symmetries. Comparison hows that the proposed algorithm outperforms two other state-of-the-art methods and can handle occlusions.

New real-time methods and algorithms of acceleration structure construction and infill, based on regular grid, for the ray tracing system in three-dimensional virtual scenes are proposed. The described methods and algorithms use CUDA parallel computation architecture and are suitable for both static and dynamic scenes.
