The paper reviews approaches to design multimedia document models and proposes a new model that combines the extensibility of visual object types and the possibility to conjoin objects of various types within the document page to be edited. The system Fuzzle CMS developed on the proposed model and intended for web sites management is described.

12. Programming problems on graphs of bounded treewidth [№4 за 2011 год]

We present the modern approach to development of efficient algorithms for solving optimization problems on graphs of bounded treewidth. This approach is based on dynamic programming using a tree decomposition of the graph. According to this approach we propose an exact algorithm for solving the VERTEX COVER problem. We apply the transformation of the tree decomposition which reduces the size of dynamic programming tables. In describing the algorithm, we use the language of relational algebra. Algorithm execution time depends linearly on the number of vertices and depends exponentially on the treewidth the original graph.

The method of innovation activity planning problem solving is considered. On the base of problem features is made a conclusion, that problem should be solved as optimization problem. To consider the problem as a mathematical optimization problem, a definition of «innovative capability» term is given. An indicator for innovative capability estimation is suggested. On the basis of results obtained, verbal and formal statements of innovation activity planning problem is made. The method of problem solving based on stochastic search method modification is suggested.

Paper continues the series of works devoted to development of classification algorithms on the basis of full decision trees. This construction decision trees allows counting all the attributes that match the criteria bifurcation. Investigate questions of reducing overfitting a full decision trees with bifurcation entropy criterion. The results of testing on real problems are adduced.

We developed library for searching transcription factor binding sites (specific fragments on DNA, where regulatory proteins binds. Those proteins are called transcription factors). Library consists of three search algorithms: direct search, permutation lookahead search and suffix arrays. Library is oriented on large scale information and allows performing search on genomic scale sequences with several thousand weight matrices.

In the present paper the main approaches to performance evaluation of edge detectors are considered. We focused on the methods of quantitative evaluation which use the ground truth images and discrepancy measures. The advantages and disadvantages of the most usable discrepancy measures and the peculiarities of their joint application are analyzed. The evaluation methods based on the fuzzy set theory are considered.
